Stories From The Thomas Fire

January 1, 2018

Recently our community has experienced the most devastating fire in California's history.  Some of my friends, and many other acquaintances have lost their homes and all their possessions.  Our hearts go out to all of those who have had their lives disrupted by this terrible tragedy.

As you may know, Surprisingly Good Productions co-sponsors an ongoing storytelling project called "Full Disclosure" which takes place at the Santa Paula Theater Center.  Due to the recent events, we decided to cancel the event scheduled for January 7, 2018.  But then we realized that if there was ever a time to tell life stories, this has to be it.  Therefore, we have decided to change plans and present an evening of community storytelling titled "The Thomas Fire Stories."

We have invited victims and survivors of the recent fires to share their stories.  We will be presenting stories by those who have had to evacuate, those who lost their homes and property, and even some first responders who have many harrowing stories to share.

Tickets will be offered free to Ventura County residents, but we will be accepting donations at the door to help fire victims.  The event takes place at 7pm on Sunday, January 7 at the Santa Paula Theater Center which is hosting the event.

"Full Disclosure" has been selling out regularly, and we expect an overflow crowd for this special program, so reservations are highly recommended.  You can reserve seats here.

Please join us for this special event.
